Local hip hop music group, Stretch Lefty is trying to make a difference in the world. The band is hosting a Haiti benefit concert to raise funds and public awareness.

“I didn’t realize until I saw a video in church, the awful  condition Haiti is still in. We are gonna do a benefit show every first Thurs along with the free Thurs @ KOBO , so this is only the begging,” said John Williamson, the front-man of Stretch Lefty

The Haiti event is March 3rd, 2011 at KOBO from 10 PM to 2 AM. FREE COVER!  Twenty One Pilots is the opening artist. Although the condition of  Haiti are Beat Down & Broken the money raised from this benefit show will really help the Haitian People In the Struggle.

“We are going to continue to give back to our local and global community through these shows and that the door is always free so there is more reason to give a little, five or ten bucks can go a long way,” said Williamson.
