Grammy Award winner R. Kelly is releasing a new memoir. He plans to reveal himself on a more personal level. The singer/producer insists, “I’m writing this book as Robert, not R. Kelly. “Soulacoaster” is the official title of the memoir. The book was written with the assistance of noted celebrity author David Ritz.
In the book R. Kelly provides insight to his life as he dealt with divorce, criminal prosecution, and disagreement with hip-hop artist Jay-Z. R. Kelly states, “I’m tired of being misunderstood. I will show you the tears, fears, and sweat. I will open my heart and reveal the good in my life as well as all the drama. I want to tell it like it is.”
The book is scheduled to be released later this year.
