Bilal Oliver is on a campaign to make people moist with his music — whether its tears or the sexy kind of condensation. The acoustic version of “Move On” is yet another example of this man’s immense ability to move emotions. This song, like “Think It Over,” is another tear jerker and will have you crying into your cup of Hennessy in the weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day when Bilal performs live in New York City at S.O.B.’s. Let’s just hope that Okayplayer releases some more upbeat songs of his from his recording session at Tom Joyner’s Red Velvet studio, because my heart can take any more of his voice’s bittersweet beauty.
