The process of picking jurors has officially begun in the trial for the man who is accused of murdering Jennifer Hudson’s family members in 2008. The task of finding unbiased jurors has presented some issues due to the fact that Hudson is a celebrity. In order to ensure a fair trial, the court will be asking jurors some questions about Hudson and her family. Some of the questions include if they have seen the movie ‘Dreamgirls’ or if they belong to an organization represented by Hudson such as Weightwatchers.

The questionnaire’s goal is to test the knowledge-ability of the jurors to who Hudson is and what they may know about the accused. William Balfour, the estranged husband of actress Julia Hudson, is accused of murdering Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and nephew. The questioning of the jurors by judge Charles Burns will begin this week
