President Obama took a break from his serious campaigning to make a speech at the annual White House Correspondence Dinner. The night was filled with laughter and jokes as the president poked fun at some of the biggest celebrities and politicians. The dinner, which can always be categorized as light-hearted and heart-warming, had an attendance of stars such as Kim Kardashian, John Legend, and even the host Jimmy Kimmel. Obama made sure to make reference to the center of the previous dinner’s jokes Donald Trump.
The president also made clear that he stays up to date in his pop culture by referencing the recent blockbuster hit ‘The Hunger Games’ and Young Jeezy’s song about the POTUS. The president even thanked the republicans“for taking time from their exhausting schedule of not passing any laws” to attend the dinner.
