Jordin Sparks forbids her make-up artist and members of her entourage from touching her face.
The 22-year-old American Idol winner has a reputation for being one of the nicest people in entertainment but she does have her backstage demands.
Jordin admits it’s a quirk but she can’t stand when people touch her face so she’s made it forbidden, even for her beauty team.
“This is going to sound weird, but I don”t like make-up artists or people touching my face,” Jordin told America’s OK! magazine.
“There is a strict like, no touching my face rule so they can only use brushes. Or like they have a sponge on their finger so they can hold the brush but their fingers can”t touch my face.”
Jordin won Idol at the age of 17. Her career exploded with a Grammy nomination in 2009 for her vocal collaboration on hit single No Air and most recently, a role opposite the late Whitney Houston in 2012 music drama Sparkle.
Jordin was among stars paying tribute to the legendary singer at the VH1 Divas concert on Sunday night.
