The mean streets of Newark were softened a little with a lot of holiday cheer. The Boys & Girls Club and Compound Foundation linked up for the 6th Annual Compound Foundation Giving Tour. The charity event aided underprivileged youth and foster care children.
Ne-Yo, founder of The Compound Foundation, touched down in Newark, N.J. Boys & Girls Club, with more than five hundred smiling local children. The kid’s ages ranged from three years of age to eighteen years of age, each received toys, sneakers, clothing, electronics and bicycles at the cheerful event. The vibrant Mayor of Newark Cory Booker, Superbowl champion Deon Grant and owner of clothing brand Pastry, Angela Simmons helped to lift spirits and pass out gifts to the adoring youth.  READ MORE
