R&B soulstress Fontella Bass died Wednesday December 26, 2012 in Missouri according to a family member. The singer passed away in a St. Louis hospital from complications she suffered following a heart attack three weeks ago. Bass also had several strokes since 2005. Fontella Bass was 72.
