In addition to gearing up for the release of her album Lip Lock t Grammy award-winning artist Eve is giving back to the community by partnering up with Big Brothers Big Sisters in honor of National Mentoring Month.

The Grammy award-winning artist plans to debut her new song as a part of an exclusive “hip hop homecoming” at the Big Brothers Big Sister’s National Mentoring Month Event. The organization is the nation’s largest non-profit youth program. This first-time event will take place in Washington D.C. on January 22.

The Ruff Ryder First Lady will perform her soon to be released single “Make it Out this Town.” This song is about overcoming the odds, which Eve will debut in support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters’. The event will focus on how the program helps high-risk youth overcome hardships in order to succeed in school. Eve’s single seems only fitting.
