Bruno Mars adds another accomplishment to his history making career. After shifting 2-1 on the Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart with single “When I Was Your Man,” the soul crooner goes down in the books for the most Pop No.1s from a male solo artist, reports Billboard. The new feat sees him surpassing Nelly and Justin Timberlake, crowning him the leader on the 20 year old chart.

Mar’s move to no.1 in the history books has come after releasing only two albums. His first charting was a collaboration with B.o.B on “Nothin’ on You” back in March 2006. Other chart toppers include “Just The Way You Are,” “Grenade,” “The Lazy Song,” “It Will Rain,” from the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1” and “Locked Out of Heaven.”
