If you’re looking for a job, you might want to try the United Parcel Service.  The package delivery company said it plans to hire about 25,000 drivers nationwide over the next five years.  According to the company, it will need to replace a host of workers who are slated to retire.  The company said most UPS recruits are in their 20s because they apparently respond best to high-tech instruction and training.

UPS has changed it’s driver’s traditional driver’s test from books and written tests to videogames! UPS is now looking to hire 25,000 drivers within the next 5 years to replace retiring drivers. Those who are lucky enough to get a position with UPS will make around $74,000 annually!

The videogame driving test has candidates braving realistic obstacles and is part of a six week training program. Compared to the 30% of driver candidates who failed the traditional test, only 10% have failed the videogame version.
