An 85-year-old man has been hospitalized after being shot Thursday morning.
Columbus police and EMS personnel were dispatched to the 1100 block of South High Street on a report of a shooting at about 10:11 a.m.
Medics transported the victim to Grant Medical Center to be treated for a gunshot wound to the leg.
Specifics on the shooting have not been released.
