A former Buckeye football player and Super Bowl champion continues to make a difference in Central Ohio.

Jim Cordle, now in his third year with the New York Giants, has created the Cordle Cares Foundation. It’s all about giving back to the community.

The foundation covers everything from outreach programs to scholarships.

This Saturday, the foundation will hold a Bowling With The Buckeyes event at Tiki Lanes in Lancaster, with proceeds going to the Special Olympics.

“It’s a lot of fun. It’s a thunder alley style where they have ultra violet lights. There’s bowling, there’s all kind of events going on, Buckeye players, the Special Olympians are involved in it, and we just tear up that bowling alley,” Cordle said.

Over the last three years, Bowling With The Buckeyes has brought in $50,000 for the Special Olympics. SOURCE
