UPDATE: This is just tragic. We have just retrieved the 911 Call of the first person to respond to a woman found dead on the highway early yesterday morning. The man was clearly distraught as he witnessed multiple cars strike the woman on the road.

The northbound lanes of Interstate 71 have reopened after a woman’s body was found in the lanes of the interstate early Wednesday morning.
Officers and EMS personnel were dispatched to I-71 north at about 4:55 a.m. Wednesday after several vehicles traveling north on I-71 reported seeing a woman lying in the middle of the roadway. Callers reported that it appeared the woman had been struck by several vehicles.
The woman was located and pronounced dead on scene by medics at about 5:04 a.m.
The female’s identity is unknown at this time.
