Passage: Buckeye Nation mourns the loss of former Ohio State Football Buckeye Steve Wisniewski.  Steve was a senior loan officer and a member of the Ohio State Football team from 1995-2000.  He was also a member of the Ohio State Alumni Club.  Mr. Wisniewski passed away on September 27,  2013 in Fountain Hills, Arizone at the age of 36.

A pair of lifelone Buckeye Fans were recently granted their wish.  They were recently given a VIP Buckeye tour.  The two members of OSU’s Class of 1949 were given an all access tour of The Ohio State University’s football practice facility.  They toured where the team holds its meetings and where players get their gear. They even got to watch the team practice. The tour was arranged by Senior Independence Home Health and Hospice through its Make it Happen Program. Senior Independence says it offers the program to all of its hospice patients.

2 yeard old Sullivan Busser of Columbus got an early recruiting start to become a Buckeye.  His parents recently sent Ohio State Coach Urban Meyer a letter including a profile of Sullivan’s 40 yard dash time, throwing ability and leadership attributes.  Sullivan wants to play quarterback someday for the Buckeyes.  Coach Meyer responded:

Dear Sullivan:

Your parents sent us your future Buckeye recruiting information.  We  will look for you to make your collegiate football debut in 2029 — you will need  to gain a little weight, but our strength staff will take care of that!  Go  Bucks!

Sincerely,

Urban Meyer

Head Football Coach
