Today only November 11,  2013 Veteran’s and their families are being treated to discounts and deals from various restaurants and business in central Ohio and throughout the country.  Take a look at some of today’s deals for our Veteran’s below. Make sure you bring our military or veteran identification to enjoy the following specials.

Applebee’s – Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free meal from Applebee’s Veterans Day menu.  Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2013.  Available during business hours at participating Applebee’s.  Dine-in only.  Beverages and gratuity not included.  Veterans and active duty military must show proof of military service.

Bar Louie – From open to close Sunday, November 10, 2013, and Monday, November 11, 2013, every Bar Louie location across the country will offer veterans and military personnel a free meal up to a $12 value when they show valid military ID or other proof of service.

California Pizza Kitchen – On Monday, November 11, CPK is offering all veterans and active military a free pizza from the menu.  Dine-in only.  Must show ID, be in uniform, or offer other proof of service.  Valid at participating locations only.

Carrabba’s – If you are a veteran or active military service member, stop by Carrabba’s on Monday, November 11, 2013, and get a free appetizer of your choice.  No purchase is necessary, but you must to bring military ID or come in uniform.

Champps Americana – Receive a free handcrafted burger with fries on Veterans Day, November 11, 2013.  You must show proof of military service to receive this deal.

Chili’s – On Monday, November 11, 2013, Chili’s is offering a free entree from the Veterans Day menu to veterans or active duty military members.  You’ll need to show proof of military service to get your free Veterans Day meal.

East Coast Wings & Grill –  All locations will be offering all veterans and active duty military a free appetizer or dessert on Monday, November 11, 2013.  You’ll need to show your Military ID, Current LES, Veterans Organization Card, or a photo of you in uniform, or be wearing your uniform to receive the offer.

Friendly’s – Select Friendly’s locations across the East Coast will be offering veterans and active duty service members a free Big-Two-Do breakfast and coffee on Veterans Day.  You’ll need to show military ID or your honorable discharge card to receive this deal.

Golden Corral – On Monday, November 11, 2013, between 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Golden Corral will be giving free meals to any person who has ever served in the U.S. military or is on current active duty.  This includes retirees, veterans, National Guard or Reserves.  All Golden Corral locations will be participating and no identification is required to get your free dinner buffet and beverage.

Hooters – All participating Hooters locations will be offering a free meal (up to $10.99 in value) with a drink purchase to all veterans and active duty military members with a military ID or proof of service.

Krispy Kreme –  On Monday, November 11, veterans and active duty military members who come in uniform or present military ID or proof of service will receive a free doughnut and a small coffee.  No purchase is necessary.  Valid in-store only (no drive-through).

Little Caesar’s Pizza – Get a free order of Crazy Bread on Veterans Day 2013. This free offer is valid for veterans and active duty service military members.  Proof of service (military ID or DD-214) is required.

LongHorn Steakhouse – Receive a free Texas Tonions and a non-alcoholic beverage on Monday, November 11 – November 14, 2013.  Proof of service is required for this deal.

Max & Erma’s – Get a free cheeseburger with your choice of soup or salad, plus a fresh baked chocolate chop cookie on Monday, November 11, 2013.  Dine in only.  Beverage and gratuity not included.  Veterans and active duty military members must show ID.

Menchie’s – Menchie’s will be giving out free frozen yogurt (up to 6 oz.) to veterans and active duty military all day on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2013.  You’ll need to present proof of military service to receive this deal.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants – On Sunday, November 10, participating McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants offer a complimentary entree to vets from a special menu on a space available basis, online reservations are highly recommended. Be sure to contact your local McCormick & Schmick’s to ensure they are participating.

Olive Garden – On Veterans Day 2013, receive a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu.  All special menu entrees come with freshly baked garlic breadsticks and choice of unlimited soup or salad.  Family members dining with the veteran or service member also receive 10% off their meal.

On the Border Mexian Grill and Cantina – On Veterans Day 2013, On The Border is giving veterans and active duty military who have proof of military service a free entree from their “Create Your Own Combo” menu at participating On The Borders locations.  Additionally, On The Border will donate 15% of all eligible Veterans Day sales to Carry the Load from customers who present this flyer.

Outback Steakhouse – On November 11, 2013, all veterans and active duty service members can get a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage.  Outback Steakhouse is also giving a 10% military discount off the total check November 12 – December 31, 2013.

Paciugo Gelato & Caffe – Paciugo will thank our nation’s veterans and troops on Veterans Day with a free 12 oz. Gelatte on Monday, November 11, 2013.  Military guests will need to provide proof of military service.

Red Lobster – Beginning Monday, November 11, through Thursday, November 14, 2013, Red Lobster is offering veterans and active duty service members a free appetizer from a list of ten options.  Proof of military service is required for this deal.

Red Robin is offering a free Tavern Double burger with bottomless fries on Monday, 11 November 2013.

Shoney’s – Participating Shoney’s locations will be offering veterans and active duty military a free All-American Burger on Monday, November 11, 2013.  Proof of military service is required.  Dine-in only.  Beverage, tax, and gratuity not included.

Spaghetti Warehouse – Print the coupon from Spaghetti Warehouse’s website (coupon available starting November 6, 2013) for a buy one, get one free entree for active duty military and veterans.

Texas Roadhouse – On Monday, November 11, 2013, Texas Roadhouse is offering veterans and service members a free meal off of a special Veterans Day menu, including soft drink, coffee or ice tea.  Dine-in only.  Proof of military service required.

Travel Centers of America – On Veterans Day, November 11, 2013 all CDL drivers who are Military Veterans eat free (up to $15 value) at participating full-service restaurants with proof of service. Must present valid ID.

Tucanos Brazilian Grill – All active duty, reserve and retired military, and veterans receive a free Churrasco meal on Monday, November 11, 2013.  Also, get 10% off the entire bill for veterans and troops who dine with their families, from Friday, November 8, 2013 through Veteran’s Day, Monday, November 11, 2013.  Dine-in only.  Proof of military service is required.

UNO Chicago Grill – UNO is offering veterans and active duty military a free entree or individual pizza with the purchase of an entree or pizza of equal or greater value.  Proof of military service required.

7-Eleven – Receive a free slurpee on Monday, November 11, 2013 at all 7-Eleven locations.  Must show military ID.

Bed Bath and Beyond – Active duty military and veterans along with their family members will receive 20% off their entire purchase November 9 – 11, 2013, with valid military ID.  In-store only.

Dollar General – Veterans, active duty service members, and their immediate families can receive a 10% discount with a Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2013, with military ID.

Home Depot – Home Depot is expanding their military discount to include all veterans for Veterans Day.  All veterans and active duty members will receive a 10% Veterans Day Discount on Monday, November, 11, 2013.  Veterans can save 10% off all purchase up to $500.

Lowe’s – On Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2013, all veterans and active duty military can receive 10% off their entire in-store purchase.  Military ID required.

Sam’s Club – Veterans and active duty military get a free $15 gift card when you enroll or renew you Sam’s Club card.  See Sam’s Club website for full rules and details.

Walgreens – On Monday, November 11, veterans and active duty military are eligible for a 15%-off discount on eligible store items and a 20%-off discount on Walgreens, Nice! and W brand products at any Walgreens or Duane Reade drugstore nationwide. Customers must show valid military ID or proof of service to receive the discount.

American Airlines

Delta Airlines

Southwest Airlines

Southwest does not offer any airfare military discounts, but they do wave ALL baggage fees, including overweight and oversize fees for active duty military, and non-active military with permanent change of station orders.

Marriott

Marriott hotels offer active duty military and government employees the per diem rate…This can often be as much as 50% off the advertised room rates.  The one caveat here is that they do not usually offer these rates in the city centers, so if yo are travelling to San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York, you will not find the per diem rates offered at the downtown hotels…but if you are willing to stay a few minutes outside the city, you can save big.  When booking on there websites, click on” Government & Military” under “Special Rates and Awards”.  http://www.justformilitary.com/marriott

B&Bs for Vets – Each year, the B&B industry celebrates the sacrifices offered by our courageous vets by offering free rooms on or around Veteran’s Day.  They are looking forward to the 5th Annual B&Bs for Vets celebration to take place Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11, 2013.  You can search the list by state or scroll through all the offers.  This promotion is available to PAII members and non-members.  In order to accommodate all those deserving free stays, innkeepers may offer “first-timers” to the program priority for stays. Click here for more information.
