(Former) American music icon Tina Turner has recently filed paperwork in Switzerland to completely give up her U.S. citizenship. The singer recently filed the official paperwork at a U.S. Embassy in Bern, Switzerland.  Turner, born Anna Mae Bullock, hails from Nutbush,  Tennessee.  She’s been living in Switzerland for over 20 years. Turner officially became a citizen of Switzerland in April a few months before she married longtime boyfriend and European music producer Erwin Bach.   According to documents obtained by The Washington Post, Turner stated that she no longer had any plans to ever permanently reside in the United States again.
