Rita Ora will double up for the 50 Shades of Grey project.
Along with starring in the film as Mia Grey, the Roc Nation songstress will also contribute music to the soundtrack, but it will probably be records that she’s not used to cutting.
“There is such a different vision for the movie to my own music, so there is a specific kind of vision for that soundtrack,” Ora told UK’s Metro of the project.
The movie, which is an adaptation of EL James’s popular novel, will hit theaters on Valentine’s Day weekend in 2015.
In related news, Ora confirmed at the recent Brit Awards (London), that her new single, “I Will Never Let You Down,” is on the way.
“It’s music to make you happy. It’s a good groove, because I am honestly in a happy place right now,” Ora said.
The track was produced by Ora’s boyfriend Calvin Harris and will appear on her forthcoming album, due later this year.
