The King Arts Complex and Radio One Columbus do it again this Summer with the 16th Annual Heritage Concert Series (HCS) every Thursday beginning July 17th through August 14th 2014 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on August 21st. Each concert is held at Mayme Moore Park, 867 Mt. Vernon Avenue. This extraordinary event attracts people weekly from all walks of life within the surrounding communities to enjoy great entertainment, food, and more.
Once known as the “Cradle of Jazz”, the District’s Heritage Concert Series will feature some of Central Ohio’s hottest musicians performing jazz, classic, R & B, Blues, and inspirational!
This year’s kick-off concert on Thursday July 17th will feature a performance by the legendary Urban Jazz Coalition. The stellar lineup also includes performances by Tia Stewart & The Groove Syndicate, Legends Band, Un Abrazo, Mojoflo, rounding out the series with local favorite fo/mo/deep.
