Multiple witnesses have told similar accounts of what happened between the slain teen the city’s police unit.
(CNN) – New video gives another look at what happened immediately after Michael Brown was shot dead by a police officer in Ferguson, MO.
Two contractors who happened to be in the area say they saw the shooting. Just after 12 noon, men seen in an exclusive cellphone video heard gun shots.
They were about 50 feet away from Brown and Officer Darren Wilson. The unidentified person recording the video captured the witnesses’ reaction during the final moments of the shooting.
“He had his (Expletive) hands in the air,” the contractor said in the video.
Both men were contractors working in the area, and did not want to be identified. The man on the left in the pink shirt told CNN they heard one gunshot, then about 30 seconds later a second shot.
He says he saw Brown “staggering.” Then, he says Brown “put his hands up and said, ‘okay, okay, okay.’”
The witness told said “the cop didn’t say get on the ground, he just kept shooting.”
That same witness described the gruesome scene, saying he say Brown’s “brains come out of his head” – again reiterating “his hands were up.”
