The Columbus airport is getting two of our hometown favorite spots. According to Columbus Underground, whether you’re arriving as a visitor or returning as a resident, the Columbus Regional Airport Authority wants you to feel right at home at Port Columbus. To help with that, Concourse B is adding George’s Grille 27 and Bob Evans Express to its line-up.

“Hometown favorites Eddie George’s Grill 27 and Bob Evans will offer additional quality dining options for our Port Columbus passengers,” said Elaine Roberts, President & CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. “We appreciate the investment, which will further enhance our airport modernization efforts and the traveler experience.”

Both restaurants will be operated by HMSHost, the main food and beverage service provider at Port Columbus. The company has further plans to renovate the Columbus Brewing Company location in the same Concourse, and to rebrand the existing Wolfgang Puck restaurant.

Eddie George’s Grill will be the largest of the new additions when it opens in Spring 2015, with 4,000 square feet of restaurant space that will offer guests full table service, a full bar and a grab-and-go counter for those in a hurry. The Bob Evans Express will replace the former Quiznos location and is expected to open within a few weeks.
