CBS News reports that President Obama will name former White House official Ron Klain to serve as a so-called “Ebola czar” to oversee the government’s response to the handling of the virus.
Klain previously served as chief of staff for Vice President Joe Biden and for Vice President Al Gore.
This comes after the second nurse tested positive for the virus after caring for Thomas Duncan, who died after being infected with Ebola in Liberia then traveling back to the U.S.
