Cols for Ferguson

According to 10 TV, a group of Ohio State students and community members conducted a “Columbus to Ferguson” march on Monday night.

The students marched from the OSU Oval to Goodale Park. Another group of marchers joined them at Goodale Park for the rest of the route – to Columbus Police headquarters.

The march was meant to call for justice for victims of police brutality, according to the participants. They also want a change to policing in Columbus and across the U.S.

A number of protests have been staged around the country following recent grand jury decisions not to indict white police officers in New York and Ferguson, Missouri, over the deaths of unarmed blacks.

In Ohio, there have also been several protests following a police shooting in Cleveland where a 12-year-old with a toy gun was killed.

The people at the rally presented a letter to CPD.
