When I heard panties were hanging across an Ohio bridge, I had to find out what was going… according to Fox 28, The Purple People Bridge in Cincinnati was teal on Saturday night, but that’s hardly the most notable change.
Thousands of panties are strung across the bridge. It’s all in the name of gynecological cancer awareness.
Each pair of underwear symbolizes a life lost to these diseases. The bridge itself was lit up with teal lights at nightfall.
