Wesley Snipes Begins Serving A Three-Year Sentence!

Wesley Snipes will not be celebrating the holidays with his family this year. The Blade star has been ordered to surrender Thursday and begin serving his three-year jail sentence for tax related crimes, and yesterday a judge denied his request to have that date pushed back until after the holidays. Wesley argued that he has “four minor children,” and he didn’t want them to see him get locked up “in the middle of the holiday season.” The judge turned him down, citing the fact that Snipes was supposed to begin his jail time over two and a half years ago. Added the judge, “the sooner he begins his sentence, the sooner it will end.”
