As the world revolves daily, there’s another more legal rotation that’s sweeping the nation. Legal Bud, or Herbal Smoke as some called it, is becoming readily available in stores. Weed, legally referred to as marijuana, has been illegal in the United States since the 1970s. Though it had various purposes in humanitarian cultures before hand, the Controlled Substance Act of 1970, along with the development of the Drug Enforcement Administration in 1982, deemed the drug as having the relatively highest abuse potential and no accepted medical use. Debates, campaigns, and protests have been seen on both sides of the battle to legalize it. Most supporters of legalizing it refer to, and compare it with, alcohol; and in some cases have shown why weed is an equal or better alternative to it. Those against it, argue that it interferes with the ability to think and rationalize, and has too high of a dependency rate. But, while these debates continue to disrupt the world, a new, more herbal, alternative has emerged. READ MORE
