Mikia Rhodes, a Columbus native, was forced to move out of her house with her 4 children last year after she had to have emergency brain surgery. She moved in with her parents James and Jackie Rhodes, who lived in a neglected East Side neighborhood. The 7 family members shared a 900 ft, 1 bedroom home for over a year.
With the help of some local organizations, James and Jackie, who both give a lot to those in need, received Christmas in the Summertime…literally.
