According to XConnect:
THE MANE ATTRACTION
For many women, every day is a bad hair day. According to a poll of 1,000 women aged 18 to 65, only seven percent say they love their hair. Close to 70% claim their mane has a mind of its own- maybe that’s why 58% use three or more products every day to try to tame it! If you think all that styling takes time, you’re right- 35% of women would give up extra sleep in order to spend more time fixing their hair. Forget about putting your best face forward- it’s all about being a-head of the game- almost 40% of women think styling their hair is more important than putting on makeup. And 45% think the most important meal of the day isn’t so important after all- they prioritize their hair routine over eating breakfast. Twenty percent of women said they’ve opted to stay in rather than go out and socialize due to a bad hair day.
Women AND men- do you love your hair or loathe it? How long do you spend styling it? Have you ever skipped a social function because your hair wasn’t cooperating? How important is your hair-styling routine compared to your other daily rituals?
