Now that Oprah is spending more time on the west coast with her OWN network; she’s renting out her luxury Chicago apartment. Oprah paid $5.6 million for the 10 room condo back in 2006. It’s a sixth floor condo in the 1913 Beaux Arts building in 2006 but never moved in because of security concerns and has now decided to let a tenant have at it for $15,000 per month.
The stunning 4,607 square foot residence on Chicago’s Gold Coast, which Oprah attempted to sell for $6 million in 2008, includes a grand foyer, inner foyer, living room, formal dining room, laundry room, butler’s pantry, solarium, wine room, gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a two-car garage.
