STEVIE WONDER RECEIVING ICON AWARD AT BILLBOARD AWARDS
This year’s Billboard Icon Award is going to legendary singer, songwriter and producer Stevie Wonder. The honor will be presented at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, which airs live May 20 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET from the MGM Grand Arena. Wonder is one of the most celebrated artists in popular music history with memberships in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Wonder follows in the footsteps of fellow legend Neil Diamond, who was given the Icon Award at the 2011 ceremony.
