So, with season twelve over and a new American Idol crowned with Candice Glover, where does the show go from here? After talks of cancellation due to slipping ratings, and the scrapping of judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj due to …well, their shade-throwing scrappy remarks, it seems “Idol” Is moving forward, but with other judges in mind.

According to a source speaking with Hollywood Life, Bruno Mars and Jennifer Hudson’s names are in the hat as people to consider for season thirteen. Mars is an option because the source says producers think “he’s super talented, amazingly charismatic, and well-liked by industry professionals and young fans.” Word is, producers are on the verge of offering the “If I WasYour Man” singer an offer soon.

Jennifer Hudson is an option for the network and producers because they want a previous “Idol” contestant on the judging panel. But according to the source, J-Hud is the second choice when it comes to “Idol” alumni;  Kelly Clarkson is the primary choice. “Harry Connick Jr., Kelly Clarkson, and Bruno Mars is their so-called ‘dream team’,” said the source.

What do you think…good choices for the “Idol” judging seats? SOURCE
