Mariah Carey’s anticipated album, “The Art of Letting Go,” has had a few adjustments over the years, including some songs that have been completely scratched.

According to songwriter/producer Bryan Michael Cox, the album has come together in an organic form, slowly like a “honey baked ham.”

“Life happens, and that added to the organic process of making this album. Over the past couple of years we’ve added songs, scratched songs, slow-baking this record like a honey-baked ham. And when you take a bite of that ham — people will be extremely and pleasantly surprised,” Cox told Billboard of Carey’s album in a recent interview. READ MORE
