Central Ohio now has its newest educational academy. City Prep will open September 2014 for students in 6th through 9th grades. City Prep aspires to break the traditional model for educational institutions in Columbus and central Ohio by offering a unique curriculum that offers intense focus on academics, arts, music and sports while embracing all students holistically. City Prep will offer students specific opportunities in media arts and music production while offering extracurricular sports including: basketball, football and track. As City Prep continues to grow additional sports will be added.

City Prep is hosting a FREE basketball showcase for 7th and 8th grade players on Saturday March 29th starting at 8am at Reynoldsburg High School located 6699 East Livingston Avenue. Registration starts at 8am. Players will receive a reversible basketball jersey. Free lunch will be provided as well. Special guest instructors will included former Ohio State All-American basketball player Scoonie Penn. For more details call 614-322-7970 during business hours.
