The network has opted to cancel the program regardless of the high rated show. More thant 2.6 million viewers tuned in last April, and was the most watched special program. Despite the successful ratings BET has no answer why Celebration of Gospel has been removed. BET will air Black Girls Rock, BET Hip Hop Awards, and BET Honors. Why did this program come to an end?
