According to ESPN, Little LeBron is shaping up to be a beast on the court just like his daddy. LeBron James Sr. — who is averaging 7.8 assists per game this season with the Cavaliers — tweeted out the video with an added message, saying “Proud of you son! Great job in Houston and congrats on bringing home 1st place.”

No word on whether James Jr. will be teaming up with Zaire Wade any time soon.

Update: On Tuesday, LeBron answered questions about his son’s basketball future.

“He’ll be alright,” James said. “He’s got a chance if he loves the game and he works at it, he has a chance to be good. But he’s still young. Just play for the love of the game. Don’t worry about nothing else.”

James added his son isn’t even aware that the video went viral.

“He didn’t (realize the stir the video of his highlights caused) and that’s good,” James said. “That’s good. Keep him away from it as much as possible. His father knows exactly what could happen.”
