Oh no, I used to kick it here in college! According to 10TV, The Grand Valley Dale Ballroom has shut its doors indefinitely and cancelled all scheduled events.

The Columbus Dispatch reports the staple venue on Sunbury Road in northeast Columbus is not in suitable condition for events.

The building is undergoing renovations, but the Dispatch reports there are no code issues filed with the city.

More than 30 events have been affected by the closure, most of them weddings. Valley Dale managers say they are working with those clients to relocate their event and/or issue a refund.

The Valley Dale was built in 1924 and has hosted the likes of Frank Sinatra, Billie Holliday, Alice Cooper and Tina Turner.
