It took over a year for this video to be released, which shows a white police officer gunning down a black teenager in the middle of the street. Earlier today Officer Jason Van Dyke was charged with first degree murder in the killing of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald on Oct. 20, 2014. The teenager was reported to have a small knife in his hands during the time of his shooting, but does not appear to target the officers nearby who had guns drawn. You can see the dash-cam footage showing McDonald being shot multiple times below.
