On this day, we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Although we have a long way to go, we are standing on the shoulders of his bravery, courage and commitment to equality. I am grateful for his leadership during the Civil Rights Movement. I am a direct recipient of his dedication to becoming the change he wanted to see in the world. Make today a day on, not a day off.
