At Least 50 Dead In Mass Shooting At Gay Nightclub In Orlando

What a week we’ve had here in the U.S. First, our prayers go out to the victim who was raped while unconscious but her attacker, Brock Turner, received a light sentence of only 6 months in prison. Privilege in this country is still very real and this is a pure example of how our justice system is broken. Read more about this story here.

Second, you may have heard about one of the finalists from the NBC show The Voice, Christina Grimmie,  who was killed in Orlando, Florida over the weekend for apparently no reason. Read more about this here.  Then we wake up this morning to learn about the worst mass shooting in U.S. history where an Islamic terrorist pledging allegiance to ISIS killed 50 people and injured 53 more.
