Delta Airlines crew has ignited a firestorm due to stereotyping a black woman who was onboard one of their flights.

A man almost died due to the crew not believing that a black woman named Tamika Cross was a doctor after the man stopped breathing. Cross jumped up when one of the flight attendants ask for a physician to come and assist the man. When the doctor made her way to the man, the fight attendant said, “oh no sweetie put ur hand down, we are looking for actual physicians or nurses or some type of medical personnel, we don’t have time to talk to you.”

That’s not all, Cross goes in details in a Facebook post that a white man came to the area where the dying man was and said he was a doctor, and the flight attendant tells Cross, “thanks for your help but he can help us.”

Since posting her statement on Facebook, this story has taken off on social media and making its way to national news. No word yet from Delta Airlines but we will make sure to update you on the latest.
