Only in Detroit.
Mike Epps stop by Detroit while on a comedy tour and brought out an exotic costar on stage with him.
The comedian was wrapping up his act when the man that has been seen in a viral internet video for walking a kangaroo around the Motor City was spotted. Epps asked both the handler and his kangaroo to join him on stage for a quick act.
While some of the audience had good laugh others were not so pleased.
According to TMZ, several people from the audience yelled: “They’re trash for doing this.”
The handler, Javon Stacks, told MLive.com that the kangaroo is part of his exotic zoo and has the proper licensing to bring him on the road with him. Many critics say he clearly has idea how to handle a wild animal with care.
After the show, Epps was backstage with the handler petting another kangaroo and TMZ reports he posted it online with the caption, “Yeh look how nice I am 2 him! Theses guys are license zoo keepers! #iloveanimals.” He later deleted the post.
