A low scoring, sloppy, highly watched championship.

North Carolina was able to beat Gonzaga 71-65 but though many are celebrating not everyone is amused.

Yes, it is a no-brainer that many Zags are not happy today due to the lost. However, if you chime in on any sports talk radio or TV show the game was rigged with foul calls and downright boring.


Both teams struggled on offense as North Carolina only made 15 percent of its 3-point attempts and 58 percent of its free throws. Don’t forget to add the 44 fouls and 52 free throws between the two teams. The Bulldogs committed 14 turnovers.

On the flip side, the tight game did make Monday night’s game the second most viewed championship game in 23 years.
