We might have another case of a White celebrity stealing from Black brilliance. This time, the alleged culprit is none other than Khloé Kardashian.
Kardashian is rolling out her line of apparel called Good American and she tweeted out a promotional video on Friday. It showcased some familiar faces sporting Good American’s line of clothing, which includes jeans, leather tops and bedazzled pieces. In the tweet for the video, Kardashian said, “I always have the BEST time on set with my #GOODSQUAD! How many beautiful, kickass ladies can you spot in my @goodamerican campaign video?” You can watch the visuals below.
Despite Kardashian’s excitement, one independent designer was pissed by what she saw. Destiney Bleu is the woman behind dbleudazzled, which specializes in custom crystallized swimwear and lingerie.

Bleu re-tweeted Khloé with the comment, “When someone buys 1 of everything on your site, has you make them custom @dbleudazzled work, never posts it or wears it, then copies it.”
According to Bleu, Kardashian ordered items from her in December and instead of using them for wear, the reality star copied them for her own Good American clothing.

Much of the bedazzled looks in Kardashian’s Good American video definitely look similar to the work on dbleudazzled’s Instagram. They even tweeted out comparison pics as proof.

As for people saying Bleu is just trying to draw attention to herself, she gave receipts to the impressive work she’s done. She’s contributed to major acts such as Beyoncé’s “Formation World Tour” and even TV shows like Empire.
Bleu is getting major backup from social media, despite Good American releasing a statement saying, “Under no circumstances did Good American or Khloé Kardashian infringe on another brand’s intellectual property.”

Bleu continued to explain that even some of her stylist friends peeped her designs on the Good American set.
Bleu continued to explain how important her work is and why she’s calling out Kardashian. She also made it very clear that she’s lawyered up and ready to fight.
