While all hell broke loose this past weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia, actor Jesse Williams was well aware of it all while attending a BIG3 basketball game.
Before tip off, the “Grey’s Anatomy” star was seen sitting in his chair during the national anthem. NewsOne Now reports it was a direct response to the violence and bigotry at Charlottesville.
Williams has never shy away from addressing the social and civil rights in the black community. He along with NFL players Marshawn Lynch and Michael Bennett decided to sit down as well during preseason games over the weekend.
