Are you really surprise?
The New Yorker is making a shocking claim that the President of the United States made a sick joke about LGBTQ people.
According to Jane Mayer, President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence were having a discussion on ending Roe v. Wade, which makes abortion legal in the U.S. The president switch the subject to gay rights, leaned towards Pence and said, “Don’t ask that guy—he wants to hang them all!”
This claim comes after the president spoke at an evangelical “Christian values event” and promised the audience to bring back religious freedoms, liberties and cleanse out any opponents of it. This event like many evangelical events are popularly anti-LGBTQ and have speakers and guest speak hate.
Is this true? We can’t say for sure but past actions of both this president and vice president don’t make their cases to dispute the claims legit.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane when Pence was Governor of Indiana and signed into law a bill that gave business owners the right to refuse service to LGBTQ people. The same man that believe shock therapy can help “cure the gay” in people.
