NRA release ad that details offering murder suspects money for civil lawsuits and court fees.
The mother of slain Trayvon Martin is condemning the biggest gun lobby to stop encouraging people to “shoot first and stand their ground.”
The NRA released an ad that is being condemned for providing its members “murder insurance.” The organization offers gun holders a Carry Guard insurance for “up to $1.5 million in civil protection and $250,000 in criminal defense,” according to the AP.
Sybrina Fulton’s partner with Guns Down to plea that is is time to “put the guns down.” Since her son’s death, Fulton has been an active champion in tightening gun laws and get rid of Stand Your Ground law that allo0wed her son’s killer, George Zimmerman, to go free.
This ad comes after weeks of the Las Vegas shooting that took the lives of 58 people and wounding hundreds more physically and mentally. Congress has yet to respond with legislation.
