The president has shown his true feelings for what people should be given “due process.”
At this point, the president doesn’t have to say how he feels about black and brown people when it comes to justice. Trump has always voiced his difference in his own discriminated views by saying white supremacists are “good people,” but calls immigrants “criminals.”
The president showed his true colors again when speaking on former staff secretary Rob Porter, who recently stepped down after the media found he abused two of his ex-wives. Media outlets blasted a photo of one of the ex-wives with a black eye she accused Porter gave her.
White House officials including Chief of Staff Gen. John Kelly tried to protect Porter and knew about the allegations. Still, Trump says that we should give his buddy “due process.”
Where was this energy with the Central Park Five? Ava DuVernay asked the president the same question in the mist of him getting dragged on social media.
One thing we can’t wait to see is Ava’s Central Park Five documentary and showcase Trump’s history of hate.
