The mayor stands with the decision to allow a police officer back on the force after using aggressive force.

Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther is receiving criticism after approving the city arbitrator’s decision to allow Officer Zachary Rosen back on the force. Rosen was previously fired for kicking a suspect in the head which was all caught on tape.

Public Safety Director suggested that Rosen is fired, which Ginther agreed was the right choice. However, Arbitrator Mitchell Goldberg decided to overturn the firing of the officer just receive a 3-day suspension without pay as the punishment.

Many who are criticising the mayor think he could have done more to bring the proper punishment to this officer. Do you agree?
