The good news is that the state of Ohio’s unemployment rate did drop in the month of February! It went down to 4.5 percent, but the not so good news is that it is still higher then the national average.

The states unemployment rate was 5.1 percent this time last year so the job scene seems to be slowly improving.

 

Job increases grew in the areas of education, health services, hospitality, finance, trade transportation and utilities. So don’t give up on looking for your next gig.
