Restaurants in Ohio could allow dogs to join them on the patio after a new bill passed this Wednesday. House Bill 263 states that dogs would be permitted in outdoor dining areas. There were also certain restrictions that came along with the bill. Restaurants would have to post signs showing that dogs are permitted, and restaurant employees may not intentionally touch or pet the dogs. In addition, restaurants would also have to provide sanitary cleanup methods for the dogs.
